Okinawa, Japan

So, it has been a week since I’ve been here. Time is already going by quick.

My sister Anna is stationed here in Okinawa & we live by the Kadena military base. It really isn’t what everyone thought it would be. Im NOT in Tokyo. Lol. All I see are military people with their families. I went out Sunday night & saw SOME locals but due to the rain, no one decides to go out. Not like Seattle, the rain stops NOBODY. Haha.

It really has that island feel. Anna keeps telling me we’re in the country side of Japan.. which I believe because of the old buildings & no bright city lights. Like I said, it reminds me of Guam.

It’s chill, laid back & relaxing. I need a break from what I was used to. I need time for myself, to figure out what I want to do with my life & to get my mind focused in what I NEED to do.

On another note, Anna’s drunk coworker demanded that I slapped him while he was drunk. So, I did. Lol. My first night out made me miss my friends, a lot.
